This stunning piece, titled 'Waiting Our Time', is an oil on canvas measuring 24" x 36". Captured in May of 2008, it features two young Apache girls observing their elders participating in a competition. Striking details include their ceremonial dresses, which, despite being too large, add to the overall grace and poise of the painting. The girl in the yellow and red dress even wears moccasins that are seemingly too big, adding a touch of innocence and youth to the piece.  Some day in the future, these two young girls will be old enough to also participate.
